91ÊÓƵChampions Simulation-Based Mastery Learning at APDW 2024 to Elevate Endoscopy Education

91ÊÓƵproudly participated in the Asia Pacific Digestive Week (APDW) 2024 Bali Endoscopy Simulation Training Consensus, collaborating with leading GI organizations to advance endoscopy education. Invited by program co-leads Roy Soetikno, MD, MASGE, and Tanya Kaltenbach, MD, MASGE, 91ÊÓƵshowcased its dedication to innovative educational models, particularly simulation-based mastery learning (SBML), as a transformative educational approach to developing training future endoscopy and other gastroenterology procedural skills.

Ed Dellert highlighted ASGE’s initial integration efforts of SBML principles through its Skill, Training, Assessment and Reinforcement (STAR) program, led by Chris Chapman, MD, and Jennifer Maranki, MD, FASGE. This initiative reflects ASGE’s commitment and educational leadership in refining training methodologies and implementing actionable strategies to drive progress in gastroenterology and endoscopy education.

Through collaboration with global gastroenterology and education leaders, 91ÊÓƵsupports a shared vision for transforming gastroenterology education worldwide, aiming to elevate clinical expertise and enhance patient outcomes.
