Invited by program co-leads Roy Soetikno, MD, MASGE, and Tanya Kaltenbach, MD, MASGE, 91ÊÓƵshowcased its dedication to innovative educational models, particularly simulation-based mastery learning (SBML), as a transformative educational approach to developing training future endoscopy and other gastroenterology procedural skills.
Ed Dellert highlighted ASGE’s initial integration efforts of SBML principles through its Skill, Training, Assessment and Reinforcement (STAR) program, led by Chris Chapman, MD, and Jennifer Maranki, MD, FASGE.
