Amy E. Hosmer, MD, is a clinical assistant professor at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and an expert in interventional endoscopy.
She completed her internal medicine residency, gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship, and advanced fellowship training in interventional endoscopy at the University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Originally from Pittsburgh, Dr. Hosmer recently returned home to join the faculty at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, where she has a robust clinical practice focusing on pancreaticobiliary disease and gastrointestinal cancer.
Dr. Hosmer is an avid member of the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, holding multiple prior and current national committee positions. She has editorial experience with Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and VideoGIE, as well as ASGE's Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Self-Assessment Product (GESAP). Dr. Hosmer has collaborated on multiple clinical research trials in endoscopy and is a distinguished educator in endoscopy training at the regional and national levels.
